Craft brewery fans who want to be a little generous can go to Maquoketa Brewing to donate blood in exchange for a free pint of beer.
This event allows people to drink beer and give back to the community, explained owner Mark Lyon. The blood drive is set for Tuesday, June 15. It will be the second blood drive the brewery has hosted.
The blood drive goes from 3:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. in the taproom. Maquoketa Brewing is located at 110 South Main St. Ste. A.
