Three breweries in Rock Island have joined forces to showcase their close proximity to each other and encouraging residents to try all three.
The “Brew”muta Triangle includes Radicle Effect, Wake, and Bent River.
Brewed Host Dave Levora pointed out that this collaborative event is a perfect illustration of the camaraderie that brewers have, instead of a competition.
“It’s one of the things I love about the craft beer scene that we get to cover is how they’re all in it together,” he said. “They all have one goal and that’s just making really, really good beer.”
Also, Shops with Hops is expanding. The event that originated in LeClaire is broadening its horizons and hosting another event in Muscatine.
