The Mississippi River Distillery is preparing to unveil a new facility, called their “Celebration Center.” It’s an expansion to their downtown LeClaire facility, located next to their patio at 229 North Cody Road.
According to the owners, the new building is from 1845, but has been newly constructed to provide banquet seating space and a conference room.
“We feel like the building really embodies LeClaire.” said owner Garrett Burchett. “It’s a perfect combination of rich history and modern amenities, just like our amazing river town.”
The space can be used for a host of events, from weddings, to brunches, to meeting space, or concerts.
“We have found there is great demand for a space like this.” said event manager Leah Cafarelli. “There is a big back log of weddings and other events that people put on pause in 2020. Our weekends for 2021 are already almost full and people are booking into 2022 and 2023 already.”
The space is set to open at 3 p.m. on Friday, July 30.
